He bristles with confidence, undaunted by the dangers that lie ahead. His bike is well-maintained,
and smells of freshly-applied chain lube.




Sporkie cruises down Dairy Ashford on his way to the big event. His adrenalin flows as
the moment of truth nears. He is ready. His bike misses a shift on occasion.




Sporkie arrives, and our two warriors discuss the requirements of the challenge.
At the trail, Sporkie and Cookie finalize the correct route that will be taken. Considering
all the rule changes that were made during the week, it was a lengthy discussion. Contrary
to popular belief, Sporkie did not have a twenty page thick rule book. 



Off towards Kirkwood they go! Cookie's racing experience shows as he quickly takes the
lead. Sporkie falls behind on the Dairy Ashford to Kirkwood butterway.
